Difference of magnetizations in OUTCAR

#1 Post by brock » Thu Feb 21, 2013 9:54 am

Dear all,

the OUTCAR file shows two magnetizations:

eigenvalue-minimisations : 58155
total energy-change (2. order) :-0.4017538E-06 (-0.6766746E-06)
number of electron 76.9999997 magnetization 0.0000000
augmentation part 0.7005105 magnetization 0.0000000

What is the difference between both? Is the second magnetization the magnetization of the augmentation charge? Is ths magnetization related to the one in the first line?

Best,
Brock
