isosurface level in VESTA

#1 Post by bmb3166 » Tue Feb 15, 2011 6:54 pm

Hi,

I am trying to visualize the charge density calculated by vasp using VESTA. Apparently, I need to use the CHGCAR and OUTCAR files to attain a depiction of the charge density.

To get the good picture of the charge density it seems that the isosurface level in VESTA must be changed. Could you please help elucidate the physical meaning behind the isolevel in VESTA and also what it means to vary it. Thanks for any advice.

Best,
Brandon
