electronic convergence

I'm having some problems getting a wavefunction to converge. The non-spin polarised wavefunction converges fine and proceeds to ionic relaxation steps but the spin polarised run always hits NELM. I've tried using ALGO=Normal, Fast and VeryFast, but have the same problem each time.

The following stopped after 45 NELM but the same kind of pattern continues up to and presumably beyond NELM=200.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated;
