Negatiive s/p magnetization

#1 Post by kuntalroy » Wed Mar 28, 2012 3:18 am

I am getting the following for my simulation in OUTCAR file

magnetization (x)

# of ion s p d tot
----------------------------------------
1 -0.008 -0.029 2.637 2.601
2 -0.001 -0.008 2.820 2.811
3 -0.007 -0.006 2.836 2.823
4 -0.005 -0.011 1.800 1.785
5 -0.012 -0.033 1.724 1.679
6 -0.013 -0.009 1.800 1.777
------------------------------------------------
tot -0.046 -0.096 13.617 13.475

My question is what these negative s/p magnetizations signify?
